Learning Architecture for Workforce Onboarding

Designed a scalable onboarding and behavioral training ecosystem for a multi-site workforce. Created SCORM-compliant eLearning, interactive branching scenarios, facilitator-led resources, and AI-generated communication training videos using Claude and Veo 3.1.
Cultural Compass: AI-Powered Coaching for Cross-Cultural Workplace Communication

Why this format: Coaching works better as a conversation than a course. Building it as a live tool (rather than a slide deck or PDF) meant I could test actual user phrasing in real time.
The problem: Mid-career professionals relocating into U.S. workplaces often bring communication norms that don't map cleanly onto American workplace expectations — around directness in meetings, how feedback is given and received, and email tone. Generic "cultural awareness" training tends to stay abstract and doesn't give people something to actually do in their next meeting.
The approach: I built Cultural Compass as a live, conversational AI coaching tool rather than a static course. It maps a user's home-culture communication patterns to American workplace norms across four domains — meetings, feedback, email, and professional relationships — grounded in Erin Meyer's and Daniel Coyle's frameworks. Instead of lecturing, it delivers scenario-based micro-scripts and a 48-hour practice prompt, so the learner leaves with one concrete thing to try before the next session.
Designing Accessible eLearning Resources

Designed and facilitated a hands-on workshop where participants used design thinking to build WCAG 2.1-compliant, user-centered learning resources, while applying accessibility principles, including semantic structure, alt text, color contrast, and multimedia directly to their own content.

Onboarding eLearning for staff and faculty is designed to help new hires use technology confidently and integrate into the company culture. Initially created for a California satellite college campus, the project was adapted for global training, expanding across the organization through collaborative efforts from IT and HR departments.
AI in Action for Small Businesses
AI in Action for Small Businesses is a hands-on learning series for Oakland entrepreneurs. Partnering with Northeastern University students and community leads, I co-designed sessions that clarified the roles of AI assistants vs. agents and mapped real business goals into actionable workflows. We used Miro to capture needs and turn ideas into steps owners could use immediately.
